Common questions
What is Coffee Break?
Coffee Break is a small independent studio behind seven free daily puzzle games — Queens, Tango, Zip, Wend, Patches, Mini Sudoku, and Mini Crossword. Each game lives on its own site; this hub connects them all.
Are the games free?
Yes. Every game is free to play in your browser — no downloads, no subscription, and a fresh puzzle every day on each site.
Do I need an account?
No. Every game is fully playable without signing up. A single optional Coffee Break account — one streak, stats, and leaderboards across all seven games — is coming soon.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. All seven games are mobile-optimized with touch controls, so they play just as well on a phone as on a desktop.
Are these the official LinkedIn or NYT versions?
No. Each site is independent. We use the same puzzle rules but offer unlimited play, full archives, and no daily limit. Not affiliated with LinkedIn, Microsoft, or The New York Times.
